Creating something with your hands not only instills confidence, but often times, while in the creating process, it can also lead to a sense of peace. The children that visit the Whispering Angels often come with a load of troubling emotions from past traumas. Sometimes we can find peace from anxiety in horses, art, music, dancing, woodworking, and more. Mentor-led projects in the Faith Builders woodshop allow children to learn how to create and are a great opportunity for them to form a bond with their mentor through the design and build process.
